When Is the Wedding?

Two neighbors plan which week to travel west for a wedding, checking the weather and the welcome time on the invitation.

Read together

Ana: When is the wedding? I see the date, but not the exact hour.

Ben: Next week, on Saturday. The welcome starts at four in the west hall.

Ana: Will the road be wet if it rains? The wheel of our suitcase sticks when it is wet.

Ben: We leave early. What we need is a clear plan for where to sit.

Ana: Which train goes west without changing?

Ben: The afternoon one. Well — if the weight of bags is light, we walk from the station.

Ana: I feel well enough to travel. Happens that I free that whole week.

Ben: Good. When we arrive, we ask which door is for guests.

Ana: And where we leave gifts. I still wonder what to write on the card.

Ben: Keep it simple: welcome, joy, and a wish for the week ahead.

Ana: Settled. Next week, west train, wedding welcome — we will be there.
