Read together
Saturday began with football on the grass. Shoes muddy, smiles wide. After water,
they switched to tennis on the sunny court. One hard ball flew long; the next
landed fair.
"Fishing later?" someone joked. Nobody packed a rod. Skiing posters hung in the
club hall, but the hill was far away. Golf waited for another season. Volleyball
nets stood ready, yet the group chose hockey sticks for twenty loud minutes.
Basketball followed under the indoor lights. Climbing walls tempted them, but
arms were tired. Skateboarding rattled past the gate. Badminton finished the day —
soft birdies, quieter cheers, and a promise to try swimming tomorrow.
They listed the sports on a scrap of paper: football, tennis, hockey, basketball,
badminton. Leisure felt full. Rest felt earned.

Which sports did they play, and which one came last?
