Read together
Saturday needed a plan. "Park first," said Rui, "then the lake if it is warm."
Their map of places also named the supermarket for snacks, the sports shop for
a new ball, and the bakery for warm bread. The bookshop sat on the same street
as the ice cream shop. The playground waited near the zoo gate.
They walked the street in order: park, lake, playground. At noon they bought
rolls at the bakery. Rui wanted ice cream; Mei wanted one quiet aisle in the
bookshop.
"Zoo last," Mei said, "only if our feet still work." Their feet did. They waved
at animals through the fence, then shared ice cream on the walk home.
The map crumpled in Rui's pocket, but the day of places stayed clear: park,
lake, playground, bakery, bookshop, ice cream shop, and a short look at the zoo.

List four places they visited and say which one came last.
