Read together

Helper: Good morning! The grass is still wet. Where do we start?

Farmer: At the hen house. The chicken and the duck wake up early.

Helper: I hear a goose near the water. Should I chase it back?

Farmer: Softly. The goose is loud, but it knows the path to the stable.

Helper: Is the cow already in the field?

Farmer: Not yet. First we open the hen house, then we check the pig pen.

Helper: The goat is pulling at the fence again.

Farmer: Tie it near the granary after we feed the birds. Butterflies can wait.

Helper: What about the dachshund? He is barking at the bird on the roof.

Farmer: Bring him with us. He likes to walk when we visit the stable.

Helper: Can I collect eggs while you feed the chicken?

Farmer: Yes — carefully. Then we give water to the duck and the goose.

Helper: School starts soon. Will the cow still need hay before I go?

Farmer: I will finish with the cow. You did well this morning on the farm.
