Stronger Than I Thought

Once upon a time, let me tell you a tale
About a young kid with a very long tail
He had hair so wild, it reached to his back
And a chest so broad, it could carry a stack

But one day, he tripped and fell on his head
And hurt his neck, he felt so much dread
He cried and cried, his heart filled with pain
Wondering if he could ever play again

But then he stood up, and took a deep breath
And realized that he was stronger than death
He dusted himself off, and looked up to the sky
And decided that he wouldn't give up or die

He put his hand on his heart, and felt it beat
And knew that he could handle this defeat
He straightened his shoulders, and lifted his chin
And decided to give it another win

So if you ever fall down, and hurt yourself bad
Remember to be brave, and don't feel sad
Just put your hand on your chest, and feel your heart
And know that you're strong, and you can restart.

Reflections

  1. What happened to the kid in the story, and how did he feel?
  2. How did the kid find the strength to overcome his pain and sadness?
  3. What did the kid do to regain his confidence and keep going?
  4. What does the poem teach us about facing challenges and difficult situations?
  5. How can we apply the lessons from the story to our own lives?
