The Heroes Among Us

Once upon a time in a world so bright,
There were people who worked day and night,
Some were heroes and some were just grand,
But all played a role in the land.

A repairman, he fixed all the things,
From broken toys to the swings,
He had a toolbox that sparkled so bright,
And he made everything right.

The judge, he was a wise old man,
He had a gavel in his hand,
He listened to both sides of the case,
And made sure justice was in its place.

A lawyer, he fought for what was right,
He never backed down from a fight,
He studied the law day and night,
And always stood up for what was right.

The conductor, he led the band,
He waved his baton with a steady hand,
He made the music sound so grand,
And kept the rhythm of the band.

The soldier, he was brave and strong,
He fought for his country all day long,
He wore a uniform with pride,
And always stood up for what's right.

The musician, he played a tune,
He sang a song like a loon,
He made music with his guitar,
And left his audience with a scar.

The astronaut, he flew up high,
He looked down and saw the sky,
He explored the stars and planets too,
And always came back home anew.

All of these people are heroes, you see,
They all play a part in our society,
So be brave, be kind, and do what you can,
And one day you'll be a hero in the land.
