The Fun-filled Day at the Lake

Come out and play, my dear young friend,
Let's have some fun, let's not pretend,
We'll ride the bike, we'll pedal fast,
And work up a sweat, that will last.

But wait, let's stop, and take a break,
We'll head to the lake, for goodness sake,
We'll jump in a boat, and paddle around,
The water so still, not making a sound.

Back on the shore, we'll see a seesaw,
Let's hop on and up, we'll go high and low,
The swing's nearby, we'll soar to the sky,
And feel the wind rush, as we fly.

On to the hopscotch, let's jump and skip,
And then on the slide, we'll glide and slip,
And when we're done, we'll light the grill,
The barbecue's on, let's eat our fill.

So come on, my friend, let's go and play,
And have fun outside, all through the day.
