A Walk in the Enchanted Forest

In the woods so green and lush,
A world of creatures we can hush.
Listen closely, what do we hear?
Sounds of animals, far and near.

Up in the trees, an owl so wise,
Spreading its wings, it takes to the skies.
Down by the pond, a goose honks loud,
As it takes off from the crowd.

A duck waddles by, with a quack and a flap,
In the water, it takes a splashy nap.
A frog jumps by, with a hop and a croak,
Into the water, it takes a soak.

A rooster crows, with a cock-a-doodle-doo,
Waking up the world, with a sound so true.
A squirrel scurries, up a tree so tall,
Hiding its acorns, so it won't lose them all.

All these creatures, big and small,
Live in harmony, with nature's call.
So let's cherish and respect them, each and every day,
And with them, let's live in peace and play.
