Title: The Joyful Village

Once upon a time, in a land far away,
There was a stable where horses would stay.
The farmer lived in a farmhouse nearby,
And tended to his fields under the blue sky.

He climbed up a ladder to reach the hay,
Stored in the granary for a winter's day.
The fisherman would come to the nearby stream,
To catch fish for dinner, or so it would seem.

The stable was warm, with hay on the floor,
And the horses were happy with their stable door.
The farmer's fields were so green and bright,
Filled with crops that were such a delight.

The granary was full of delicious grains,
Ready to be made into breads or cakes, even candy canes.
The fisherman's catch was so fresh and nice,
It made a wonderful meal with any spice.

The stable, farmer, farmhouse, ladder, granary, and fisherman,
All worked together to make a great plan.
To keep their land happy, healthy, and free,
And bring joy to all, from sea to sea.

  3. What kind of fish do you think the fisherman might have caught in the nearby stream?
  4. What do you think the farmer might have grown in his fields?
  5. How do you think the stable, farmer, farmhouse, ladder, granary, and fisherman all work together to make the village joyful?
