Family Fun with Friends

There was a young girl with a friend,
Who loved to play from beginning to end,
They ran and laughed, oh what fun!
With their families all around, every one.

Mum and dad were there too,
As well as grandma and grandpa, it's true,
All the relatives had come to see,
The happy kids filled with glee.

The little boy and girl played all day,
With their loved ones never far away,
They played with balls and climbed on trees,
And had ice cream when they started to freeze.

As the day came to an end,
They hugged their family and their friend,
Thankful for the love that they had,
From their mum, dad, and all the rest they called their clan.

And so they went to bed with a smile,
Knowing that their love will stretch for miles,
The little girl whispered, "thank you, dad,"
As she drifted off to dreamland, feeling glad.
