Objects in a Room of Play.

In a room where children play
There's a clock to tell the time of day
Tick-tock goes the little clock
As the children dance and rock

A vacuum waits by the door
Ready to clean up crumbs on the floor
It sucks up dirt with ease and grace
Leaving behind a spotless space

A lamp sits on a table near
Spreading light to make things clear
It's bright and warm, like the sun
And it helps the children have fun

A glass of water, cool and clear
Is always welcome, always near
It quenches thirst and cools the tongue
And makes the children feel strong

A telephone hangs on the wall
Ready to answer any call
The children answer with a grin
And say "hello" and "how you've been"

A fan up high, twirling fast
Brings a breeze to cool the blast
It blows away the heat of day
And helps the children laugh and play

And last but not least, a TV screen
Shows the world like we've never seen
It's magic in a box, you see
And it fills the children with glee

So in this room where children play
These things make their day
With clock, vacuum, lamp, and more
The children's hearts will surely soar.
