The Bird Brigade: A Tale of Feathered Friends

In the forest, perched up high,
A wise old owl sits way up in the sky.
With feathers soft and big round eyes,
The owl looks down with a watchful guise.

Down by the beach, on the sand so white,
A sandpiper runs with all its might.
It pecks and searches along the shore,
Finding tiny treasures, more and more.

In a pond, so calm and still,
A flamingo stands, proud and chill.
With feathers pink and long, thin legs,
It wades in the water, catching fish and frogs.

In the garden, on a branch so low,
A dove coos gently, soft and slow.
With feathers white and a sweet, cooing sound,
The dove watches the world go round.

On a farm, a big turkey struts,
With feathers so grand, and gobbling guts.
It puffs its chest and spreads its wings,
And dances around with proud, silly things.

In the trees, with a cheerful tweet,
A finch flits and flies with nimble feet.
With feathers bright and a chirping song,
The finch sings and dances all day long.

So whether in the forest, on the beach,
In the garden, or fields out of reach,
Birds of all kinds bring joy and cheer,
And we love them all, year after year.
