Once upon a time, in a land far away,
A young girl named Lily wanted to play,
But her mom had a task for her to do,
To buy some writing paper and envelopes too.

Off to the shop she went with her pad,
A list of what she needed, her mom had had,
As she walked through the aisles with care,
She met a shop assistant, with a friendly stare.

The assistant asked, "What do you need?"
Lily replied, "Some paper to write and read,
And envelopes to send my letters to friends,
With glue to seal them, my message will never end."

The assistant showed her many kinds of paper,
Different sizes and colors, she began to taper,
Lily chose the perfect one, with chalk to draw,
And envelopes of different sizes, enough for all.

Now Lily is happy, she has all she needs,
To write letters to her friends with ease,
With glue to seal them, they'll never come apart,
Her messages will always have a special start.
