A Journey Through the Enchanted Forest

When the phone rings, don't be afraid,
Just pick it up, don't be delayed,
Say hello and listen well,
The person on the line will tell.

They may ask a question or two,
Just take your time, there's no need to rush through,
Think about the answer you want to give,
Then speak up clearly so they can live.

If you didn't hear or understand,
Don't be afraid to ask again,
It's better to be sure and know,
Than to guess and get it wrong, you know?

Sometimes the phone can be quite awful,
Especially if it's a telemarketing call full,
But most of the time it's friends or family,
Calling to chat and catch up, oh so happily.

So next time the telephone rings,
Don't be afraid, just spread your wings,
Pick it up and say hello with pride,
You never know who might be on the other side.
