Friends Forever: A Tale of Kindness and Growing Up

There once was a girl so very kind
Who had a friend that she did find
A child so young, with heart so pure
Together they played, of this they were sure

They played with dolls, and dress-up too
Sometimes they'd sing, just me and you
The world was theirs, the crowd unseen
Just a player and a friend, a happy dream

As they grew up, they learned and learned
The ways of the world, and all it yearned
Adults they became, with wisdom and grace
Yet they never forgot, the child's embrace

They saw the good, and they saw the bad
In every human, happy or sad
They knew that each person was a fan
Of something great, some part of the plan

But they also knew, there could be a victim
Someone hurt, without a friend to stick with 'em
So they pledged to always be there
For each other, and for anyone who cared

And though they'd grown up, they never lost
The wonder and magic, at any cost
For they knew that life, with its twists and turns
Was a gift to cherish, and passion to burn.
