The Adventures of the Pencil and Pen: A Day in the Life of a Young Artist

Come and sit at the table,
With your pencil and your chair,
Draw a picture of the door
Or the window over there.

When you're done with your drawing,
And you're feeling kind of tired,
Go and rest upon your bed,
And let your dreams be inspired.

In the morning when you wake up,
Head straight to the bathroom to wash,
Then go and get dressed in your bedroom,
And start your day with a quick little dash.

The kitchen's where we make breakfast,
Lunch and dinner too,
Grab a pen and write a list,
Of all the things we need to do.

So whether you're drawing, resting,
Writing lists, or washing hands,
Remember, you can always dream big,
And explore all of life's lands.
