The Funny Old Man with the Gray Beard

Once upon a time, in a land far away,
Lived a funny old man, with a beard so gray.
He had hair on his head, and hair on his chin,
And a toothy grin, that drew young kids in.

His nose was so big, and his eyes so bright,
And his lips were always smiling, what a sight!
His neck held up his head, so tall and grand,
And his mouth sang songs, that echoed through the land.

The kids would gather 'round, and listen with glee,
To the tales he'd tell, of dragons and the sea.
They'd watch as he'd wiggle his nose and his ears,
And they'd giggle at the silly faces he'd steer.

And though he was old, and had seen many things,
He loved to make kids laugh, and flap his bird-like wings.
So if you ever see him, with his eyes all aglow,
Stop and say hello, and watch his beard blow.
