Sally's Scrapes and Smiles: A Tale of Resilience and Love

Once upon a time, let me start
With words that will play a part
In a story that's sure to delight
With words that dance and take flight

A little girl named Sally, just four
Loved to run, jump and explore
One day as she was playing outside
She tripped and fell, it was quite a ride

She scraped her knee, tore her dress
And even made a little bit of a mess
She got up and tried to walk back
But her foot hurt, it was quite a whack

She limped and then began to cry
When she saw a tear fall from her eye
But her mom was there to help her through
And her finger soon pointed to her toe too

With a gentle touch and a kind word
Her mom kissed her toe, it was absurd
And then Sally stuck out her tongue
She knew she'd be okay, she had won

For even though she had a scrape and a bruise
She was surrounded by love and good news
And in no time at all, she was back to play
With all her friends on a sunny day.
