Once upon a time, not so long ago,
There were some numbers, you should know.
There was one, and two, and three,
And four, and five, and six, you'll see.

Seven and eight, they came next in line,
And nine, they said, was simply divine.
Ten came last, but not least,
And zero was there for the feast.

They played together all day long,
And taught us how to sing this song.
