Let me tell you a story, my dear
Of things that we hold very dear
Like toys and sweets and fancy clothes
And things that sparkle and brightly glow
But some things are expensive, you see
And we cannot have them for free
We must save up and work hard
To buy the things we want, it's not bizarre
Except when it comes to something else
Something that's not about wealth
Like love and kindness and good friends
Those things are priceless till the end
For example, let's take a look
At a book, or a smile, or a cooking book
They don't cost much, but bring such joy
To a girl or a boy, or any girl or boy
And when we talk about exercise
It's something that can make us rise
To feel excited and full of glee
To run, jump, dance and feel so free
So when you expect something to come your way
Remember, there are things we cannot pay
Like the way the sun shines in the sky
Or the look of wonder in your eye
So, listen close, and let me explain
That life is not just about what we gain
It's about the things that we can't buy
That make our hearts and souls truly fly.
