The Lost Key

In the morning, when we wake,
We see the sun, it's not opaque,
We hear the birds sing a tune,
And maybe even a monkey's baboon.

At night, we can see the moon,
It's so bright, it's like a boon,
A symbol of night, a symbol of light,
A beautiful sight, it's quite a delight.

In modern times, we have much,
We have money, we have such,
But we must remember, it's not everything,
There's more to life, that's what we should be cherishing.

We have twelve months, in a year,
Each one unique, each one so dear,
From January to December,
Each one a moment to remember.

But of all the months, the most,
Is the one we love to boast,
December, the month of cheer,
Filled with love and joy, the end of the year.

So let's cherish every moment,
In this life that we are sent,
For there's more to life than money,
And that's what makes it oh so sunny!
