Star and the Stranded Deer

Once upon a time, in a land not far,
Lived a young girl whose name was Star.
She lived nearly a forest, oh so grand,
With trees so tall, they touched the land.

One day she saw a deer by the neck,
Trying to eat some leaves off a deck.
She ran to her neighbour, kind and true,
Who knew just what to do.

With a needle and thread so fine,
They fixed the deer and made it fine.
Star was happy to help in need,
For her neighbour, it was a good deed.

The forest was near, the path so narrow,
But Star loved to explore, not a bit of sorrow.
She saw the nature, so green and bright,
And the animals that came into her sight.

In this great nation, we call our home,
We all must work together, never alone.
To help each other in times of need,
Just like Star, with a good deed.
