The Adventures of a Brave Little Mouse

Sometimes life can be quite tough,
But remember, you're made of strong stuff.
If you're feeling down and blue,
Just know that someone's here for you.

The softest hug, a gentle touch,
Can make a difference, oh so much.
If you need help with anything,
Just ask your dad, your mom, or your kin.

If you've done wrong, don't fret and pout,
Say "I'm sorry" and make it all work out.
Sometimes we make mistakes, it's true,
But we can learn and grow anew.

If you're feeling hungry and need a treat,
There's something yummy you can eat.
A bowl of soup, warm and hearty,
Will make you feel so good and hearty.

There's some time left before you sleep,
So listen close and hear the sound so sweet.
Of someone dear who loves you so,
Whispering "goodnight" and "I love you" low.

Soon you'll dream of wondrous things,
Of fairies, unicorns, and kings.
And when you wake, the world is new,
With adventures waiting just for you.

  1. What are some ways the poem suggests we can feel better when we're sad or upset?
  2. Why is it important to say "I'm sorry" when we make a mistake?
  3. What are some things that make you feel warm and happy inside, like a bowl of soup?
  4. Who can you ask for help when you need it?
  5. What are some things you like to dream about at night?
