The Magical Words of Playland

Once upon a time, in a land far away,
Lived a bunch of words that loved to play,
Each with a unique trait they proudly wore,
And the children loved them more and more.

Intense was the one who played with fire,
The one who always aimed to climb higher,
But when things got too hot to bear,
He'd take a break and let down his hair.

Messy was a bit of a scatterbrain,
But always made things interesting again,
She'd color outside the lines and spill her drink,
And the children loved her all the more, don't you think?

Loyal was a word who kept his word,
Always there when he was needed, like a loyal herd,
And when his friends were in a bind,
He was always there, reliable and kind.

Lenient was one who gave some slack,
Not too strict, but didn't cut too much slack,
A happy balance that kept everyone at ease,
And made things run as smooth as you please.

Meek was a word who didn't make a fuss,
He was quiet and calm, never making a rush,
But when he spoke, he spoke with care,
And made sure his message was clear as air.

Indulgent was a word who loved to spoil,
The kind of word that would give you the royal,
She loved to indulge in sweets and treats,
And make sure everyone around her was feeling merry and neat.

Merry was a word that loved to laugh,
She'd play and joke and dance, never take a half,
She loved to bring happiness and joy to all,
And make sure no one was feeling small.

Inventive was a word that loved to create,
He'd build and tinker and never be late,
He loved to make things that nobody had seen,
And show them off, like a wordful machine.

Lazy was a word who loved to chill,
He'd lounge and nap and never pay a bill,
He loved to take things slow and easy,
And make sure his friends were never too queasy.

Merciless was a word who played rough,
He never backed down, never took a huff,
But even though he was a force to be reckoned,
He always played fair, and never played second.

Mild was a word who was gentle and kind,
He never spoke harsh, and never crossed the line,
He loved to be around people who smiled,
And made sure the world was never too wild.

And Kind was a word that we all adore,
He's always there when we need him more,
He loves to lend a hand and never expects,
Anything in return, he's just that kind of text.

So, in the end, these words may be strange,
But they all have something that we can range,
And if we learn from them, we'll see,
That we can all be the best that we can be.
