Defenders of the Redoubt: A Tale of Courage and Might.

Once upon a time, in a land far away,
There stood a redoubt, tall and strong,
With walls made of stone, it kept foes at bay,
And sheltered the people all day long.

A tower rose high, up in the sky,
With a ravelin below, to defend,
And a palisade that no one could pry,
To make sure the fort would never bend.

A station was set, to watch over the land,
And a stockade surrounded the place,
With a watchtower manned, by a vigilant band,
To keep an eye on any intruders' pace.

And up on the turret, the flag did fly,
A symbol of courage and might,
Protecting the people, both low and high,
From danger and peril, day and night.

So if you ever wander, in lands far and wide,
And you see a redoubt in the distance,
Remember the fort where brave heroes reside,
And the courage that guards its existence.
