The Brave Engineer and the Stormy Seas

Come gather round, young friends of mine,
And hear a tale of a ship so fine.
It sailed across the ocean blue,
With an exec and an engineer, too.

The engine roared and roared some more,
As the ship sailed towards a distant shore.
The ensign waved, the flag so proud,
As the ship cut through the waves, so loud.

But then a storm, it did appear,
And the ship was tossed and turned with fear.
The fantail swayed, the fender bent,
As the ship was thrown from side to end.

The engineer, he knew just what to do,
And he worked hard to see the ship through.
He measured the depths with a fathom line,
And guided the ship to safety, so fine.

So children, always remember this,
When you sail the seas with joy and bliss.
That an engineer and an exec so true,
Can help guide you safely, too.
