The Brave Sailors: Charting the Seas with Skill and Pride

Out on the ocean wide and blue,
A crew of sailors, brave and true,
Set sail to journey far and wide,
And chart the seas with skill and pride.

Their ship was tall, its mainmast high,
A sturdy log, that touched the sky,
And on its deck, a mate in charge,
Guided the ship, from port to barge.

They hoisted sails, and set to sea,
With ropes and lines as far as could be,
And as they sailed, they sang a song,
That echoed loud and clear and strong.

Through storms and squalls, they sailed with pride,
With longshoreman by their side,
And when they reached a distant shore,
They shared their tales and so much more.

With maps and charts, they marked each place,
With longitude and latitude's grace,
And in their magazine, they wrote it down,
So others too, could find their crown.

So listen close, young ones, to this tale,
Of sailors brave, and their great sail,
And may you too, set forth with pride,
And chart your own course, far and wide.
