Adventures in the Enchanted Forest

In sports we learn to give our best,
And strive for medals on our chest.
We train and work to hone our skill,
So we can win and feel a thrill.

A mitt is what we wear to catch,
The ball that flies in our match.
But if we're not careful, we may lose,
And end up feeling like a bruise.

On the mat, we grapple and wrestle,
Trying hard to stay in the tussle.
In luge, we slide and race so fast,
Feeling the wind, we're having a blast.

We join a league and play with friends,
Until the game comes to an end.
In lacrosse, we shoot and pass with ease,
And score a goal, if we please.

A major victory is what we seek,
But if we don't win, it's not defeat.
We grab our mallet and play some croquet,
Or move on to the next game, without delay.

So let's keep moving and give our all,
And have fun, whether we win or fall.
For in the end, it's not about the score,
But the joy of playing and wanting more.
