Lost in the Enchanted Forest

In the vast expanse of space,
Where stars and planets race,
There are things both big and small,
That make the universe enthrall.

Let's start with the tiny things,
The particles that make up everything,
Like quarks that bind protons tight,
And positrons that glow so bright.

Moving up to something small,
Are photons, traveling like a ball,
Carrying light and heat and sound,
All the things that make life abound.

But not all particles are the same,
Some are more powerful than their name,
Like projectiles that can fly,
And plasma that can light up the sky.

When particles get hot and bright,
They can release radiation with might,
And under high pressure they can bind,
Creating quanta that blow our mind.

So even though they're hard to see,
Particles are important, as can be,
For they create the world we know,
And all the things that make it glow.
