There once was a liner so grand,
Its sails billowed across the land,
But media came with their cameras and lights,
Interference, they caused quite a fright!

A jingle played on the radio,
And everyone began to glow,
But the level was too loud to bear,
So the monitor helped us all share.

The captain spoke with inflection so strong,
And the crew sang a cheerful song,
As they recorded it all in their log,
To remember the journey through the fog.

So let's remember this tale so dear,
And keep our spirits ever clear,
For the liner of life may sometimes sway,
But with teamwork, we'll find our way!

Talk about it

Reflection

  1. What was the problem that the media caused for the liner and its crew?
  2. How did the crew overcome the problem of interference caused by the media?
  3. What tools did the crew use to monitor the level of noise on the liner?
  4. Why was the captain's inflection so important to the crew?
  5. Why do you think the crew recorded their journey in a log?
