The Magical Journey of a Brave Little Mouse

Let me tell you a tale, young ones,
Of the units that science runs,
Calories and joules, first in line,
Measuring energy, so divine!

Hertz is next, it counts the waves,
Of light and sound, with speeds that amaze,
And decibels, they measure sound,
How loud it is, all around.

Grams and coulombs are units of mass,
Electric charge, that we can amass,
And then there's farads and henrys too,
Measuring capacitance and the magnetic glue.

Candela's the unit for light's brightness,
So beautiful, it brings us brightness,
And last but not least, there's the ampere,
Measuring electric current, that's so fair.

So there you have it, young ones,
All the units science runs,
They may seem strange, but don't you fear,
Just remember them, and science will be near!

  1. What did the little mouse have to do to save her family?
  2. How did the mouse feel when she first set out on her adventure? How did her feelings change throughout the story?
  3. Who were some of the friends the mouse made along the way, and how did they help her?
  4. What were some of the obstacles the mouse had to overcome, and how did she do it?
  5. How do you think the story might have been different if the mouse hadn't been brave and determined?
