In the jungle where the wild things roam,
Lived creatures you've never known.
A python slithers through the trees,
While a petrel soars on the ocean breeze.

An owl hoots high up in the night,
As a salamander scurries out of sight.
An osprey dives into the blue,
While a mandrill swings from vine to vine so true.

A ray glides through the coral reef,
And a marlin is the ocean's chief.
A monitor lizard basks in the sun,
While an ocelot prowls when day is done.

These animals are all unique,
In the way they move, play, and speak.
But no matter how different they may be,
They all have a place in nature, just like you and me.
