A place to store water that we have found,
So when it's dry and there's not a sound,
We can use this water, and we'll be crowned.

Next up, we have the aqueduct,
A structure built with care and respect,
To move water from here to there,
A wondrous thing, we can all declare.

Then there's the bridge, so strong and grand,
Built over water to connect the land,
A place to cross from one side to another,
A true engineering wonder.

The dam is next, a massive wall,
Built to hold water, and that's not all,
With the power of the water, we can create,
Electricity for us, it's truly great.

The canal is a waterway that's long and narrow,
Built to transport goods and more,
With boats and barges, we can move with ease,
And transport our goods as we please.

Lastly, we have the levee so strong,
Built to protect us when things go wrong,
When water rises and starts to flood,
The levee holds it back, it's all good.

The structures that water does depend,
On dams, canals, and levees too,
To keep our waterways safe and true.
