The Lost Key Adventure

In math class we learn so much
About shapes and numbers and such
Let me tell you about some words
That might seem tricky, but aren't absurd

A circle is round, like a ball or a pie
It has no corners, just curves that don't lie
If you draw it with care, you'll see
Its radius is the distance from the center to the edge, you see

A cone is a shape that comes to a point
Like an ice cream cone, or a mountain joint
It has a circle as its base
And a curved surface that slopes to the tip with grace

Coordinates help us find where things are
On a graph, we can map them near or far
X and Y values show us where to go
To find a point or a line, high or low

A circuit is a path that electricity takes
Through wires and components that make
Our gadgets and devices work
With switches and sensors that don't shirk

Cosine is a math function that helps us find
The ratio of adjacent and hypotenuse combined
In a right triangle with an angle involved
It tells us the size of the side opposite resolved

A couple is two things that go together
Like a pair of shoes or birds of a feather
They can be different or the same
But together they're stronger, and that's no game

So there you have it, some math words to know
With practice and patience, they'll help you grow
In understanding and knowledge, you'll see
Math can be fun and useful, just wait and see!
