The Cozy House and the Dancing Kid

Once upon a time, in a cozy little house
There lived a young kid, quiet as a mouse
He loved to dance, and his favorite was a jig
He'd stomp his heel and spin around like a bigwig

But when it was cold outside, he'd shiver and shake
His mom said, "Let's fix it, we'll insulate and make
This house warm and toasty, just like a hearth
And we'll make sure the gutters don't leak and cause a marsh"

They worked all day, insulating walls and inlays
Fixing gutters, and replacing old jambs with new pathways
Now the house was cozy, with no cold air in sight
And the young kid danced with glee, under the warm light

With a hop and a skip, he moved his hip and swayed
Feeling so warm and snug, in his home he stayed
He twirled and he spun, feeling happy and free
Thanks to his mom's work, their house was now a sanctuary.
