Creating Our Own Little Space

Out on the patio, we sat and we played,
On the wooden panels, where we often stayed.
We painted pictures, with colors so bright,
And added some notches, to make them just right.

We built a partition, to create some space,
And used an outrigger, to keep it in place.
We nosed around, and found a perfect spot,
With an offset view, that we liked a lot.

The panel doors opened, with a creak and a groan,
And we stepped inside, to make it our own.
We hung up our art, on the walls so tall,
And felt proud of our work, standing proud and tall.

So if you want to create, and build something new,
Just use your imagination, and see it through.
You can paint and play, with all that you've got,
And build a special place, in your own little spot.

  3. How did they use the outrigger and partition to make their space unique?
  4. How did the children feel when they hung up their art on the walls?
  5. What can you do to create your own special space?
