The Lost Key Adventure

In music class we learn so much
About rhythm, melody, and such
We sing and dance, we clap our hands
And learn to play in different bands

We start with the beat, the steady sound
That keeps the music going round and round
Then we add the accent, a little pop
To make the music stand out on top

Next comes the cadence, a musical end
To signal the song is about to bend
And then we play a chord or two
To give the music a little more hue

An arpeggio is next in line
A fancy way to play in time
We pluck each note one by one
To make a melody that's lots of fun

The bass is low, it gives us depth
And makes the music more complex
And when we put it all together
We create a symphony that lasts forever

So come on kids, let's play the bar
And make some music that reaches far
With the canon as our guiding light
We'll make some music that's out of sight!
