Once upon a time in a town so neat,
There were roads and paths for every feat,
From highways wide to motorways fast,
To freeways long that seemed to last.
The streets were filled with cars and trucks,
Zooming by in a blur of luck,
Down the lane and around the loop,
Onward and upward, they'd always troop.
Up a hill, they'd climb with glee,
And then roll down with such esprit,
Under an overpass they'd go,
And then off to the intersection, they'd flow.
And if you looked down at the ground,
You'd see a gutter where rain would be found,
A place for water to safely drain,
So the roads would not flood again.
So, young ones, be sure to stay safe,
On these roads and paths in your race,
Observe the signs and traffic lights,
And always keep your sights in sight!
