Journey of Tastes

Come children, gather round and hear,
A tale of tastes both far and near.
Of waters clear and vinegars sour,
And teas that warm you up in an hour.

Syrups sweet, and wines so fine,
Made from grapes upon the vine.
Wheats ground down to make our bread,
And tartar used to bake instead.

Toasts that crunch and waffles so fluffy,
Are treats that make our mornings more happy.
But be careful with tastes, oh so rare,
Some may be too strong for you to bear.

So taste with care and find your delight,
And let your taste buds guide you through the night.
