Adventures in the Enchanted Forest

In a cozy room where children play
A bookshelf stands, tall and proud all day
It's filled with books of every kind
So many stories for young minds to find

Beside the shelf, a bureau sits
With drawers to hold treasures bit by bit
A place for pencils, paper, and more
To let creativity soar

Across the way, a cabinet stands
For games and toys at young hands' commands
A puzzle here, a toy car there
So much fun to be had and share

Next to it, a sideboard gleams
A place for snacks and tasty dreams
A bowl of fruit, some crackers too
Perfect for a quick munch or two

Nearby is a buffet table grand
With plates and bowls within command
A place to serve a yummy feast
For hungry bellies and mouths to please

A bookcase stands just out of reach
But with a chair, it's easy to teach
A book to read, a story to hear
So much adventure to be near

A chest at the foot of the bed
To store clothes, cozy sheets, and more ahead
A place for pajamas, socks, and such
To keep things tidy with a gentle touch

And lastly, a credenza of wood
A place to showcase things that are good
A vase of flowers, a family photo too
A touch of love in all that we do

So in this room where children play
These pieces of furniture stand each day
To hold the things that we need and love
And keep our home cozy as a dove.
