The Words' Playful Dance

In a land of words and rhyme,
Where sentences dance all the time,
There lived some words, bright and true,
Who loved to play with me and you.

One word, named Extract, was bold,
And always wanted to be told,
To take out the important part,
And keep it close, close to heart.

Composite was a word quite shy,
But loved to make new words and try,
To mix and match with other friends,
Creating words that never end.

Fill was a word that loved to grow,
In any space it could go,
It loved to take up every inch,
And make its presence known without a flinch.

Delete was a word that loved to hide,
And sometimes made us want to cry,
But it was necessary, you see,
To make room for new words, for you and me.

Align was a word that stood so tall,
And straightened things, one and all,
It made sure everything was just right,
And always kept things in sight.

Clear was a word that loved to shine,
And make everything look fine,
It erased the things that didn't belong,
And made the words look pure and strong.

Distribute was a word so kind,
And loved to share, without a bind,
It gave out words to all who need,
And made the world a better place, indeed.

So these words all played and had some fun,
Dancing together, one by one,
And though they seemed different at first glance,
Together they made a beautiful dance.
