The phone rings loud, a startling sound
And all around the room, we gather round
Who could it be? We all wonder and stare
As we wait for the message to be shared

The murmur of excitement begins to grow
As we wait for someone to answer, just so
With a gulp, one brave soul takes the call
And suddenly, we're all enthralled

A schmooze ensues, with chatter and laughter
As the caller talks on, like a never-ending chapter
We listen in awe, as they share their tale
And we can't help but feel like we're setting sail

On a journey to a far-off land
Where the rasp of adventure is close at hand
The jaw-dropping tales that we hear
Are enough to make us all cheer

And as the call comes to an end
We thank our lucky stars for this friend
Who shared their story with us today
And made us all feel okay

For even though we're young and small
We know that sometimes, we can stand tall
And make the most of every day
In our own unique and special way.
