Exploring the Seashore

In the springtime, down by the shore,
The fashion of the crew was to explore.
They climbed the headland, oh so high,
And heard the clamor of seagulls nigh.

The sound was deafening, it filled the air,
But the crew was brave and didn't scare.
They hiked along the brackish bay,
And came upon a ravine in their way.

They peered inside and what did they see,
A lair for creatures, as still as can be.
But the crew was bold, and they did not waiver,
They continued on, for the day was favorable.

They explored the shore, and found much more,
Seashells, and rocks, and treasures galore.
As the sun began to set on the bay,
The crew knew they'd return another day.

For they had discovered a world so grand,
And they knew they would explore every inch of the land.
