Fun and Play in the Fields: Adventures with Young Animals

Out in the fields where the grasses grow,
The sun shines bright, and the breezes blow,
A kid, a foal, a chick, a lamb,
A cub, a calf, all play and scamper.

The kid jumps high, with glee and fun,
Its little hooves, beating like a drum,
The foal gallops wild, with a whinny,
Kicking up dust, and feeling so skinny.

The chick flaps its wings, pecking at seeds,
Hopping and chirping, with all its needs,
The lamb bounces around, soft and white,
Its woolly coat shining, in the sun so bright.

The cub growls and pounces, so bold and brave,
Learning to hunt, and to be so brave,
The calf sniffs the air, with a curious nose,
Mooing and bellowing, as the wind blows.

In the fields, where the animals play,
There's never a dull, or boring day,
With a kid, a foal, a chick, a lamb,
A cub, a calf, all happy and calm.
