Hammy the Hamster's Happy Home

A hamster in his cage so small,
Lived in a wheel, round and tall.
He'd run and run for hours long,
Till he was tired, weak and strong.

A ball of fur, with tiny paws,
He loved to chew on crunchy straws.
But when he felt quite parched and dry,
He'd sip some water, oh so sly.

He'd make his bed all warm and neat,
With bits of straw and some soft sheets.
And in his nest he'd curl up tight,
Dreaming of his next big bite.

A tube he had, so dark and long,
He'd crawl inside it all day long.
And in his home he felt just right,
With all his toys and treats in sight.

He loved to play with his food so fair,
Nibbling on a carrot or a pear.
And when he was full and round and fat,
He'd take a nap on his cozy mat.

So if you have a hamster friend,
Take good care of him till the end.
Give him a home that's safe and sound,
With lots of love and food around.
