Food, People, and Places: A Wondrous Thing

Once upon a time, in a land far away
There were many things, all in a bright display
There was food and people, all around
Some loved the hot, while others the cold they found

Some loved a place with palm trees and sun
Others loved the snow, with lots of fun
But no matter the weather, or where they'd roam
Everyone needed a place to call home

Some loved their veggies, others meat and pie
And some loved to bake, and make cakes that reach the sky
But whether you liked it spicy or mild
Food always made people happy and smiled

And so the world was a wondrous thing
With food and people and places to sing
From the hottest deserts to the coldest ice
The world was a marvel, and oh so nice!
