Room Adventures with a Fishy Friend

Once upon a time, in a cozy little room,
Lived a little kid with a bright smile and bloom.
On a desk, sat a book, waiting to be read,
The pages whispered softly, "come on, let's get ahead."

The kid in the room was a little bit messy,
Clothes on the floor, oh so very dressy.
But on the bed, lay a friend, a fish,
Swimming in a bowl, just as the kid wished.

The fish loved to watch the child study,
Hoping to learn something new, so lovely.
And the child loved to have a friend,
Who was always there, until the very end.

So, with the fish swimming and the book open wide,
The kid sat at the desk, ready to abide.
And even though the room was a little cluttered,
The child's imagination and wonder were never fluttered.

For in this little room, with its fish, desk, book, clothes, and bed,
The kid had everything, and that was all that mattered.

  3. How do you think the kid feels about reading and learning from the book on their desk?
  4. What are some of the things that the child could do to keep their room clean and tidy?
  5. Do you think that the child and the fish are good friends, and why?
