Friends at the Pond

Once upon a time, near a pond so blue,
Lived some creatures, as cute as could be,
A frog, a turtle, and fish, too,
A swan, a duck, all friends, you see.

The frog, so jolly, would hop and croak,
The turtle, so slow, would crawl and poke,
The fish, so bright, would swim and shine,
All playing together, having a good time.

The swan, so graceful, would glide and float,
The duck, so silly, would quack and gloat,
Together, they'd swim, and have some fun,
Splashing and playing, under the sun.

Around the pond, they'd roam and play,
Jumping and splashing, all through the day,
And when the moon would rise at night,
They'd all tuck in, safe and tight.

So if you visit, that pond so grand,
Take a look, at this happy band,
Of creatures, friends, so fond and true,
The frog, the turtle, fish, swan, and duck, too.
