The Magic Paintbrush

Up high in the sky, a twinkling star,
Shining bright, it's not too far.

Down below, on the ground we see,
Shapes of all kinds, for you and me.

A circle round, like a shiny plate,
An oval shape, like an egg so great.

A square so strong, with sides so straight,
A triangle pointy, it's really great.

Shapes and stars, we see them all,
In the world around, both big and small.

Learn to recognize, each one with care,
And watch as your world becomes aware.
