The Adventures of Rabbit, Squirrel, and Friends in the Forest

In a forest green and grand,
Where tall trees reach for the sky,
Lived a rabbit, quick and clever,
With a twitch of his nose and a blink of his eye.

He hopped and skipped around the woods,
And made friends with all he met,
Like a curious and chatty squirrel,
Who loved to talk and fret.

The rabbit and the squirrel played and laughed,
And explored the forest wide,
But they kept a wary eye out for the fox,
Who was known to be quite sly.

The fox would slink and sneak around,
Hunting for a tasty meal,
But the rabbit and the squirrel were too smart,
And always managed to slip away and heal.

They ran and hid behind a tree,
And peeked around to see,
A deer, grazing by a stream,
With mushrooms growing wild and free.

The rabbit and the squirrel smiled wide,
At the sight of such a peaceful scene,
And they all sat down to rest a while,
In the forest, so serene.
